Cascade Lighting

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 22, 2026

This policy explains how Cascade Lighting handles personal information when you visit cascadepermanentlighting.com, request a quote or estimate, submit a Facebook or Instagram lead form, or communicate with us about permanent lighting services in the Vancouver, Washington and Portland, Oregon area.

1. Information we collect

  • Information you provide: your name, phone number, email address, service address, city, lighting package preferences, home height, preferred appointment date and time, and messages or project details you choose to share.
  • Facebook and Instagram forms: contact and project information you submit through our ads, including information you review and submit from fields prefilled by Meta.
  • Communications: the contents of calls, texts, emails, and other correspondence you share with us, along with inquiry and follow-up records. This policy does not authorize recording calls.
  • Technical information: website hosting and delivery services may process IP addresses, browser and device information, pages requested, timestamps, and diagnostic information needed to deliver and maintain the site.

Please do not include payment card details, government identifiers, or sensitive personal information in inquiry forms or messages.

2. How we use information

  • Respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, arrange estimates, and discuss your lighting project.
  • Call, text, or email you about your inquiry and provide appointment or service updates, subject to your choices and applicable law.
  • Send promotional communications only where the necessary permission or other lawful basis exists.
  • Manage customer relationships, maintain business records, operate the website, address misuse, and comply with legal obligations.
  • Review advertising results available in Facebook and Instagram, such as ad clicks, impressions, and submitted lead forms.

3. Facebook and Instagram lead ads

When you submit one of our Facebook or Instagram lead forms, Meta provides the information you submit to Cascade Lighting so we can respond to your request. We use that information for the purposes described in the form and this policy. Meta also processes information under its own Privacy Policy; your Meta account and advertising settings are managed by Meta.

A lead-form submission does not provide unlimited permission for marketing. Any required permission for marketing calls or texts must be obtained through a clear, separate disclosure and consent process. Reading or accepting this privacy policy alone is not consent to automated calls, prerecorded calls, marketing texts, or sharing identifiers for advertising.

4. Calls, texts, and your choices

Cascade Lighting may call or text the number you provide to follow up on your quote request, estimate, or service inquiry. Promotional calls or texts, and any calls or texts using automated technology or prerecorded voices where consent is required, require the appropriate separate consent. Consent to promotional communications is not a condition of purchasing our services.

  • Message frequency varies with your inquiry, appointments, and any separately agreed marketing messages. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to opt out of texts. You may receive a final opt-out confirmation, but no further texts unless you separately opt in again.
  • Reply HELP for help, or call 360-644-2692.
  • To stop calls or withdraw marketing permission, tell us during a call or contact us at 360-644-2692. You may request a different contact method for an existing service.
  • To stop promotional email, use an unsubscribe option in the message, if provided, or contact us.

Your choice to opt out does not prevent you from requesting a quote or purchasing lighting services. We may retain a record of your opt-out to honor your request.

5. When information is shared

Lead information is used by Cascade Lighting and providers supporting our services, such as website hosting, inquiry management, scheduling, and communications providers. Providers receive information needed to perform services for us, not for their own unrelated marketing.

We do not sell lead contact information or share it with other businesses for their own marketing. Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, and text-message consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers supporting message delivery may process this information on our behalf.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, in response to valid legal process, or as necessary to protect rights and address fraud or misuse. If a business transfer affects personal information, its handling remains subject to applicable law and notice requirements.

6. Cookies, website services, and advertising measurement

Website services may use technical cookies or similar technologies needed to deliver the site. External services, such as the Google Fonts service used for our website fonts, receive technical request information when your browser connects to them. Browser settings let you manage cookies, although restricting them can affect website functionality.

This policy does not itself install or enable the Meta Pixel, Conversions API, customer-list uploads, or advertising cookies on our website. If we introduce website advertising measurement or data sharing, we will update this notice and provide any required consent and opt-out controls before that processing begins. Required advertising consent is separate from analytics consent and permission to call or text you.

You can manage Facebook and Instagram advertising preferences in your Meta account settings. Those settings do not replace a request to stop communications from Cascade Lighting.

7. Retention and security

Information is retained for the purposes described here, including handling inquiries and services, maintaining necessary business records, resolving disputes, and meeting applicable legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of record and these needs; this policy does not promise a fixed deletion period. Opt-out records may need to be kept so we do not contact you again.

No website, electronic transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Avoid sending sensitive information through inquiry forms. Contact us if you believe your information has been misused in connection with our services.

8. Privacy requests

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you provided, to withdraw consent, or to ask how your information is used. Depending on where you live and whether a privacy law applies to our business, you may have additional rights, including a copy of your data or an opt-out of certain processing. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law, including any applicable appeal rights, and may need to verify your identity. Legal or business-record obligations may limit deletion.

We do not sell lead information or provide it to others for their own marketing. If processing subject to legally required browser opt-out signals is introduced, those signals must be honored as required by applicable law. Exercising a legally protected privacy right will not result in unlawful discrimination.

9. Children and external links

Our lighting inquiry services are intended for adults, not children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can address it. Links to Facebook, Instagram, or other external websites are governed by those services’ policies, not this policy.

10. Policy updates and contact

We may update this policy as our practices change. Updates will appear on this page with a revised effective date, and additional notice or consent will be provided where required. An update does not automatically grant new marketing permissions.

For privacy questions, requests, or communication preferences, contact Cascade Lighting by calling 360-644-2692. You may also text that number; avoid including sensitive information. We serve Vancouver, Washington, Portland, Oregon, and surrounding areas.
